"Where we at?" by MenoReno 7/22/19
OK, so it's Monday, again, after an other quiet weekend of unfulfilled promises. Does anyone else wonder about the credibility of the guru's 'reliable' sources?
We have been told so many things that have not materialized. One tells us that the stock market is crashing, yet it recently reached an all time high. We are told we are about to return to the gold standard and we are awaiting our new gold-backed currency to go live, but the truth is that the bill, HR 2558, that could make this happen, hasn't even come up in the finance committee to be considered and is unlikely to find enough support in the Dem-led House.
We are also told that the FED is dead, that derivatives are crashing, and that we will eliminate the IRS by enacting a flat tax law.
My question is, why is anybody buying into this falderall?
Given the current state of world affairs, with the confrontation escalating in the Mid-East and major problems for the administration here in the US, is it any wonder that they haven't pulled the trigger on the RV?
It stands to reason that the banks want this. But we are not in a stable place. To let this go now, might not correct our problems but add to them.
Again, I hope I am wrong and we see something before the end of the month.
